Does the USV32 have an accessory port?

Yes! Unlike a traditional accessory port (like the USV20 and USVX have), the USV32 has an accessory port adaptor that allows you to vacuum seal external canisters and jars.

Can you seal mason jars with the USV32?

Can I use FoodSaver or other brand bags in the USV32 chamber vacuum sealer?

Yes, you can use any brand regular vacuum sealer bag in the USV32. However, we recommend using chamber vacuum pouches, as they are much more cost effective than embossed/textured vacuum sealer bags.

What is the largest bag size that will fit in the USV32?

The largest bag size that fits in the USV32 is 11"x13".

Is there a "wrong way" to place a bag in the USV32?

Believe it or not, yes, there is! It is important to ensure your bag is not getting pinched off in any way or it can inflate with too much air, which leads to not achieving a tight vacuum.

Can you vacuum seal Mylar bags with the USV32?

You can vacuum seal a mylar bag by adjusting the seal time setting between 7-9. We recommend using Avid Armor mylar vacuum pouches. If you choose to use another brand, make sure the bags are 7 mil or less to ensure a positive seal.

How do I vacuum seal liquids in the USV32 chamber sealer?

One of the key benefits of a chamber vacuum sealer is being able to seal liquids with ease. The USV32 is made to create a maximum level of vacuum when sealing all types of food, but also excels at effectively vacuum sealing any liquid.

How do I vacuum seal delicate or soft items in the USV32 chamber sealer?

Vacuum Sealing delicate items can be more challenging in the USV32 than when using a traditional sealer because it does have to pull a partial vacuum in order to make a heat seal on a bag.

If an item is too large to fit inside the chamber of the USV32, an embossed/textured vacuum sealer bag can be used to vacuum seal the item on the outside of the chamber. When doing so, the USV32 will essentially act like a suction sealer.

Why do my bags "puff up" in the USV32?

Bags will "puff up" or inflate in the USV32 because the atmospheric pressure is less in the chamber outside of the bag, then it is within the bag. Some bag inflation is typical in chamber vacuum sealers.

What is the warranty of the USV32?

The USV32 comes with a standard 1 year warranty. Avid Armor takes pride in the quality of our products and guarantees that our sealers will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year following the purchase date.
