Yes! You can vacuum seal mason jars with the USV1 by using external accessories. 

How to Vacuum Seal Mason Jars with the USV1:

1. Plug in power cord.
2. Press the ON/OFF switch to turn on power. 
3. Fill up mason jar with contents, place on flat lid, and put on lid ring loosely.
4. Place inside the largest canister in the Avid Armor 3-Piece Canister Set.
5. Put lid on canister and rotate the lid dial to SEAL.
6. Attach the accessory hose to both the canister lid and the sealer's accessory port.
7. Hold down the 'AUTO VAC & SEAL' button for 2 full seconds to engage the accessory function. 
8. Once cycle is complete, remove the hose, turn canister dial to OPEN, and remove your vacuum sealed mason jar!
