Can you vacuum seal mason jars with the A100?Updated a year ago

Yes! You can seal mason jars using external canisters and the accessory port on the A100. 

How To Instructions:

1. Plug in power cord.
2. Press ON/OFF button to turn on sealer.
3. Take mason jar and place flat lid, then lightly screw ring on.
4. Place jar into canister and put on canister lid.
5. Turn canister lid dial to 'SEAL'.
6. Insert vacuum hose into accessory port on right side of sealer.
7. Place other end of vacuum hose into canister lid.
8. Press 'ACCESSORY' button to run vacuum cycle.
9. Remove vacuum hose and turn canister lid to open.
10. Remove mason jar and tighten lid ring. 
11. Your mason jar is ready for storage!

Note: The largest canister can hold up to a wide-mouth quart size mason jar. Regular mouth quart jars are too tall to fit in canister.
