How do I vacuum seal dry goods in the USVX chamber sealer?Updated 2 years ago
When vacuum sealing dry goods such as flour, spices, freeze dried food, etc., it is important to fill up your chamber pouch with about 3"-4" of headspace left. When using mason jars or canisters, ensure there is a minimum of 2" of headspace to prevent product from being sucked into the accessory port.
Tip: Place a cupcake liner or a coffee filter on top of the powder in the mason jar or canister to act as a barrier.
Note: Failure to do so can result in damage to your sealer.
