Believe it or not, yes, there is! It is important to ensure your bag is not getting pinched off in any way or it can inflate with too much air, which leads to not achieving a tight vacuum.

The proper way to place the pouch is to put the pouch clip inside of the opening or lay it over the seal bar, tucking it down slightly. Never place any part of the bag outside of the chamber.
