Is it normal that my USVX beeps when I power on the sealer?

Yes! Once the power switch is turned ON, the sealer will make a beeping sound, which indicates the connectors have turned on inside the chamber.

Is it normal for the cooling fan on my USVX to run after a vacuum cycle is complete?

Yes! The cooling fan will run for about 15 minutes after a vacuum cycle is complete. After the time is up, the sealer will be in standby.

What do I do if my pouch clamp is loose on my USVX?

The pouch clamp is an addition to ensure correct placement of the bag and is not necessary for application. Simply lay the pouch slightly over the seal bar and you will achieve similar results.

Your seal time setting might be too high. We recommend a seal time of 1 for Avid Armor chamber pouches and a 3 for mylar vacuum pouches. If it is not due to the seal time setting, ensure the brown teflon tape is still on the seal bar and no seal wire

Why are the buttons on the control panel not working on my USVX?

The buttons on the USVX are touch sensitive (like a smart phone), so you must ensure your hands are dry and warm otherwise the buttons may not react to the touch. If there is any residue on the control panel, we recommend wiping down with isopropyl.

There could be gapping in your lid gasket. To solve this, remove the gasket and rotate it 1/4th of a turn, then place it back in the gasket channel. By rotating the gasket, it will put different sections of it at the corners of the lid. Ensure there
