Why is my A100 | GEN 2 not pulling a vacuum?Updated a year ago

Here are a few things to check, to ensure your sealer is able to pull a vacuum:

1. When you run the vacuum cycle, is the lid locking down during the vacuum cycle?

2. If it isn't sucking air out of the bag - run this test:

  • With the machine ON, press the 'ACCESSORY' button.
  • Put your finger over the accessory port on the right side of the machine to see if it is sucking air.

If the lid locks down and you can feel a vacuum through the accessory port, your A100 is pulling a vacuum as it should and the culprit to the problem could be the bag placement or the vacuum sealer bag itself.

If your sealer is not vacuuming, one of the solenoid valves is stuck shut due to residue and will need to be cleaned. Please contact Avid Armor for solenoid valve cleaning instructions.
