Why is the lid on my USV1 not drawing down during a vacuum cycle?Updated a year ago

There could be gapping in your lid gasket. To solve this, remove the gasket and rotate it 1/4th of a turn, then place it back in the gasket channel. By rotating the gasket, it will put different sections of it at the corners of the lid. Ensure there are no tears or blemishes in the gasket while doing this. 

How To Replace the Lid Gasket:

1. Start at one corner and pull gasket upwards to remove from gasket channel.
2. Take new gasket and start at one corner, pressing flat side of gasket in channel.
3. Ensure fin of gasket is facing outwards.
4. Work your way around chamber without compressing gasket.
